How to Measure

Phara d’Or pieces are celebrated for their exquisite craftsmanship and adjustable design, but finding the perfect fit is essential before you buy. This Size and Style Guide will walk you through the measurements you need to select your Phara d’Or size with confidence.

Your usual bra size plus five key measurements will determine your Phara d’Or fit. Use a soft fabric measuring tape, wear a non-padded, underwire bra, and stand before a mirror to ensure accuracy.

All Phara d’Or pieces are designed and crafted in the European Union, and our sizing follows EU standards.

Our fit runs on the smaller side. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Overbust Measurement

Measure around the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipple) while wearing a non-padded bra. Hold the tape gently so it rests lightly against your body, keeping it straight and level.

Underbust Measurement

Wrap the tape firmly around your rib cage, just beneath the bust. Keep the tape level and snug for your most accurate underbust size.

Waist Measurement

Place the tape around the narrowest part of your waist, about halfway between the bottom of the rib cage and the top of the hips. Make sure it remains straight and parallel to the floor.

Top Hip Measurement

Position the tape at the crest of your hip bone. Ensure it encircles your body straight and level for this upper-hip measurement.

Lower Hip Measurement

With your heels together, wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and bottom. Keep the tape even and parallel to the ground.

At Phara d’Or, we believe that everyone deserves the perfect fit, and the freedom to adjust as their needs change. That’s why many of our bras, including styles from the Juliette and Kate collections, feature fully adjustable backs. By combining sister sizing with these intuitive adjustments, each “Main Size” in these ranges can comfortably span multiple neighbouring sizes.

How do I find my correct bra size?

Use a soft measuring tape:

Underbust: measure snugly around your ribcage, directly under the bust.
Bust: measure around the fullest point of your bust.

Compare your numbers to our size chart to find the exact EU size match. For the most elegant silhouette, choose the closest size.

What if I’m between two band sizes?

If you are in between, we recommend selecting the smaller band size for a sculpted, supportive fit, our designs are created to sit close to the body. A looser band risks reducing both support and the sleek look.

Do Phara d’Or bodysuits run true to size?

Yes. Because bodysuits combine bust, waist, and hip measurements, choose the size that matches your hip most closely. This ensures the body-hugging fit and sensual lines we design for.

How adjustable are your suspenders and garters?

Each suspender and garter has generous strap adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune the length for your desired look and comfort. This adjustability also means that sizes cover a slightly broader range than the waist chart alone suggests.

Can I return or exchange if the size isn’t right?

Yes. We offer easy 30-day returns and exchanges within the EU. Please ensure garments are tried on carefully at home with tags and hygiene liners intact.

How do I know if my lingerie fits correctly?
